So yesterday I started my blog by generally talking about how I started gaming. Now I would like to go into a little detail about the Nintendo Gameboy Color.
It was released to North America November 19th 1998 and came after the original Gameboy. The logo for the Gameboy color contains the word COLOR with each letter being a different color. The C is pink, O purple, L green, O yellow, and R teal. Each letter represents a color that a Gameboy Color could be purchased in. As you might remember, mine is Green. I like how Nintendo made its logo correspond to its system colors and how there were so many starting system colors. I also remember a friend of mine having a clear purple Gameboy Color. It was kinda translucent so I thought it was neat how you could see the systems guts. It didn't go to the logo but it was still cool. I believe there were other colors but they were like limited edition or correspond to a specific game or something.
The feel of the system has a natural fit in the palms of my hands. It is pretty simple too. It has a keypad arrow set with up, down, left and right. Its buttons include an A, B, Select and Start. As for along the sides it has an outlet for accessories, an on/off switch, a volume wheel, and two jack holes: one of which is a headphones hole. Its simplicity and special features drives home what great of a handheld it is. I will go into the capabilities of the Gameboy Color soon as well has what I think of them.
This is a Blog about video games invloving reviews, my history of them and other thoughts. Enjoy!

Introduction
Hi, my name is Eric. Videogames has always been something in life that I really enjoy. So, I thought I would just make a blog to say what I think about them. Let me start off where it all began.
My first ever legit videogame system was a Nintendo Gameboy color. Based off that fact you can estimate how old I am but that's not that important. Anyway, it had the Lime Green cover. With it I had a Game and a Case. The case was also Green and had a Pokemon theme to it with a Pickachu on the cover. My game was a Pokemon Pinball cartridge. That is my beginning to my gaming collection.
I always wanted a Gameboy ever since I played my cousins. Even though I only played it for a couple of minutes, I knew I would like videogames. I don't remember how I got it though. Either my Grandma bought it for me on my birthday or I saved up my money, and with the help of my parents, got one. Who ever it was I should really thank. It has brought me hours of fun. Anyone who owns a Gameboy Color and Pokemon Pinball will know the feeling.
